Liposomal Lentinan
Liposomal Lentinan is an advanced formulation designed to improve the delivery, stability, and biological performance of lentinan, a natural polysaccharide extracted from shiitake mushrooms. Lentinan has long been recognized for its functional and bioactive properties, especially in the areas of immune support and wellness research. However, like many high-molecular-weight polysaccharides, its practical use can be limited by poor stability, low absorption efficiency, and rapid degradation in biological environments. By encapsulating lentinan within liposomes, these challenges can be significantly reduced, allowing for a more effective and potentially more versatile ingredient.Liposomes are tiny spherical vesicles composed of phospholipid bilayers, structurally similar to cell membranes. This unique structure makes them an excellent carrier system for sensitive compounds. In the case of liposomal lentinan, the liposome acts as a protective shell around the lentinan molecule, shielding it from harsh external conditions such as oxidation, digestive enzymes, and pH fluctuations. This protection helps preserve the integrity of the active ingredient during storage and after administration. One of the key advantages of liposomal lentinan is improved bioavailability. Traditional lentinan may be difficult for the body to utilize efficiently because of its large size and limited permeability. Liposomal delivery can enhance uptake by the body, supporting better distribution and potentially more consistent functional effects. This makes the ingredient especially attractive for applications where efficient delivery is important, including nutritional supplements, functional beverages, and wellness-focused formulations.Liposomal lentinan may also offer benefits in terms of controlled release. Because the active compound is enclosed in lipid vesicles, it can be released gradually rather than all at once. This may help maintain more stable levels over time and improve the overall performance of the product. In addition, the phospholipid components used in liposome construction can contribute to formulation compatibility, making it easier to incorporate the ingredient into different product formats. From a formulation perspective, liposomal lentinan is valued for its versatility. It can be used in liquid, capsule, powder, and other supplement systems depending on the intended application. Its relatively mild, nature-derived profile also aligns well with current consumer interest in botanical, mushroom-based, and science-supported wellness ingredients. As research into functional mushrooms continues to expand, liposomal delivery technologies are likely to play an increasingly important role in enhancing the usability of compounds like lentinan.Overall, liposomal lentinan represents a modern approach to improving a well-known natural ingredient. By combining the bioactive potential of lentinan with the delivery advantages of liposomal technology, this form offers better protection, improved absorption, and broader formulation possibilities. It stands as a promising ingredient for next-generation health and nutrition products.

Liposomal Dihydromyricetin 70% High Bioavailability Liver Protection and Antioxidant Supplement
Category: OthersBrowse number: 145Number:Release time: 2026-10-20 19:13:52Product Summary Liposomal Dihydromyricetin 70% is a high-purity, liposomal-encapsulated form of dihydromyricetin (DHM)—the principal bioactive flavanonol extracted from vine tea (Ampelopsis grossedentata), a traditional Chinese medicinal and edible herb consumed for over 600 years—standardized to ≥70% active content. DHM is a dietary flavonoid recognized for its potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hepatoprotective properties, with specific research demonstrating significant anti-alcohol effects through negative allosteric modulation of GABA_A receptors and acceleration of alcohol metabolism via enhanced activities of alcohol-metabolizing enzymes (ADH and ALDH). However, native DHM exhibits extremely low absolute bioavailability of only 4.02% in rats due to its poor water solubility, low intestinal permeability, and susceptibility to degradation by gastric acid. Liposomal encapsulation within a phospholipid bilayer addresses these fundamental limitations. A novel liposomal formulation (DHM-Lipo-Rg3) achieved >95% encapsulation efficiency with particle size <90 nm and significantly improved bioavailability by 3.1-fold in males and 5.4-fold in females in pharmacokinetic studies. Another cyclodextrin-liposome system demonstrated 5.83-fold and 3.38-fold increases in AUC₀–₉₀ₘᵢₙ and Cmax, respectively. This water-dispersible powder is suitable for capsules, functional beverages, and nutritional formulations targeting liver protection, alcohol metabolism support, and antioxidant defense. Each batch is HPLC-standardized and quality-tested for purity, identity, and DHM content.
